The house at Marshall and Woodhead is not being demolished. The new owners are demolishing the garage, and renovating the house.

Those Clay St. properties are old 1930s-era row houses, most owned by the same LLC for the past 12 years, and if you dig into the LLC, you see it’s a one-person outfit. Someone’s cashing in on what must have seemed an awfully risky investment at the time.

I used to know a queen who lived there years ago (on Marshall). It’s a beautiful house. It’s these stories that make me hate living here.

Sad to see the house in the photo go. That is a fantastic looking house from c. 1925 in Winlow Place in Montrose. What a shame — get ready for turrets and stucco.

What are they going to build along Clay? Would be a great spot along the new bike trail with the right kind of development.

Wish they’d come just a *little bit* farther west, and demolish the 4 houses that have been “marked” for demolition, for months now, at the southern corner of Bell & Nagle!
