I drove past 2115 W Alabama twice today. At 9:00, it was still standing, with no hint of the destruction to come. At 4:30, it had already been reduced to a pile of bricks and timber. I guess they didn't try to salvage any of the building materials. How wasteful.

BTW, HCAD finally has updated ownership records for this property, the parking lot to the east, and the strip center on the corner. All belong to a SHEPHERD ALABAMA LLC and changed hands in July.
