  • 2nd time there has been a post about this house we do not need any more

  • you guys keep picking on this poor house!

  • I believe you guys featured this a few months ago with the picture highlighting the gun the previous owners/renters left on the bathroom counter. I guess foreclosures like this are the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to the photo listing of the day. This house is near mine, so I’m glad to see someone has bought it and will (hopefully) clean the place up.

  • Ugh, its got the stank of Hilcroft to go with too.

  • I always look at listings like these and wonder if the previous residents weren’t zapped up into a UFO in the middle of the night.

  • Yikes, again. So, who cleans it up when bought? The buyer? Do they get the stuff, and i use the term loosely, in it?

  • Tiny: you buy “as is”. New owners stuff. New owners mess.

  • I’m failing to see $185k worth of house there. Needs to be torn down.

  • Glen, what is this “stank of Hillcroft” of which you speak? I actually live near this eyesore, and it’s a decent, nice place — except for this one place on the corner.

  • Good candidate for an interior tear-out to the studs and update, if it sits level and doesn’t have termites. The neighborhood with the exception of the traffic noise on Willowbend is actually nice. Not sure how much profit potential for a flipper to do a full rehab but would make someone a nice mid century starter if it was done right.

  • A house in much worse shape than this, in this very same neighborhood, sold for over $200K back in October of last year. Completely renovated by a house flipper, it is now gorgeous. I don’t know how much it sold for after the flip as it sold before it got completed so it was never listed. So there’s a profit to be made here.
