The Champions School of Real Estate’s former location at 4543 Post Oak Place Dr. is now home to Quality Life Fitness, which KPRC meteorologist Frank Billingsley and partner Kevin Gilliard transplanted recently from the southwest corner of Westheimer Rd. and Mid Ln. The space, less than a mile north of the gym’s previous strip center locale, has been refurbished and outfitted with a bamboo-floor studio for its new more-likely-to-be-on-the-ground clientele:

Billingsley also notes that the school’s saltillo tile is gone, as is “the drop ceiling with the bad fluorescents.” Here’s a shot of the outside of the place, facing south:

The building is still shared with a dental office and the Japan America Society of Houston; next door at 4544 Post Oak Place are the former offices of the Grand Parkway Association, which withdrew into TxDOT’s Washington Ave office back in March of 2015.

The Champions School, meanwhile, has opened up a new campus less than a mile north of its previous locale, on the northbound West Loop just south of Buffalo Bayou. The new spot makes the school neighbors with both Uptown Fitness and easy-route Nikko Cosmetic Surgery Center. Champions has 2 other Houston locations: the original and eponymous branch at Cypress Creek Parkway and Champion Forest Dr., and a far-west location at Highway 6 south of I-10, next to the ‘extremely high risk’ Barker reservoir dam structure.
