  • “Oh Romeo ,wherefore thouart Romeo? “

  • One of a kind! Weirdly cold and uncomfortable!

  • After three years of planning and 15 years of maturation, the owners decided to sell after the Quinceanera.

  • I’ve done a bit of structural engineering in my career, and the fact that columns do not line up in the great room offends my sensibilities greatly.

  • El Chapo’s Houston residence?

  • Can’t tell if it’s terrible Latin American style or terrible Middle Eastern style. Either way, they’re not gonna get anywhere close to $3mil, not for this decorative abortion.

  • commensense: I don’t agree with you from time to time, but you are SPOT ON about this house. That is perhaps the most to the point description of this monstrosity so far. Someone has money, but not enough to buy taste apparently.

  • “Why go to the Ritz?” Just wanted to pose this question again…

  • I was going to say that at least the back yard was a saving grace but then I saw the gazebo. Why in the world would you have THREE different types of columns on that structure? That just makes no sense.

  • Their about 10 days from realizing the house is worth about one million less than anticipated

  • I like it.

  • @Orang Bodoh, good point. Additionally, I initially thought each non-corner upper column had a vent, which implies a plenum for each which make no sense. Instead, I assume those grates must be speakers, which is equally odd unless you want an bikini-undressing-capable wall of sound wafting at 20 foot height. Like the onyx though.

  • Med school doesn’t teach taste, apparently

  • Nice rug in the gazebo. But that’s about the only thing I like about the decor — and it won’t convey!
