re: Black & White the curse strikes again! So far at this location – Bedford, Stella Sola, Killen’s, Yucatan Taco Stand, now B&W.
@HAG, the concept was completely flawed at the start, we pretty much avoided it at the start because of the awkwardness of two concepts in one place. We never tried the ‘black’ side until they started offering both menus on both sides. By that time the damage was done and we didn’t feel like going back in there much.
@HAG. Killensbbq and Yucatan never made it inside the space.
I still miss Stella Sola. I’m a big fan of GlassWall, but Stella Sola was better, IMHO. Amazing wine, with no markups, and some of the best steak I’ve ever had.
There have been landlord issues there from the beginning, it seems.
