Can’t visualize this 59-610 flyover thing. A glance at the map suggests that a Bridal Depot and an orthopedic hospital would get in the way.
Gisgo, my guess is that the support for the flyover ramp will fit in the grassy area between the feeder and the mainlanes.
The mayor is wrong about NB 610 to NB 59 being the biggest concern. Maybe to some Bellaire commuters to downtown, but not to most people. The ramp from NB 59 to SB 610 will reduce weaving on SB 610 and will therefore speed up the West Loop north of 59. The Loop north of 59 is a bigger congestion issue than it is south of 59.
