holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. that house is WAY too big for that lot.
Is there a method to the arrangement of the jumbled forms that make up that house? It looks like it was designed from the inside out, and then had a turret slapped on it.
It’s “go big or go elsewhere” for Bellaire–all new builds in the vicinity of Bellaire HS are comparable (my daughter attends BHS so I can only vouch for new builds in its immediate area–and this address on Maple is just a few blocks away).
As the graphic in the Rockspring Capital article demonstrates: the critical difference between SH 130 east of Austin and the Grand Parkway Seg. E in Houston. Many people want to live west of Houston and developers are clamoring to build there; and if housing is built, many people living west of Houston will have a compelling reason to pay money to go north or south. By contrast: not many people want to live east of Austin and developers are not clamoring to build there; and if housing is built, not many people living east of Austin will have a very compelling reason to pay money to go north or south.
I really hope this drone trend in real estate listing doesn’t take off. Why would I want to see a house from a vantage point I’ll never view it at? “Yes, it’s a lovely roof, I’ll take it!”
Hayley: Agreed.
.
Is it me or does that house look way too much like Ted Wassanasong’s spec house from King of the Hill. You know, the one that blew over in a wind storm?
Is drone hunting illegal? Can the kids and I shoot them down?
