Radical Eats had one of the best lamb burgers I have ever eaten in my life. Truly phenomenal. They also had the worst service I have ever seen. The waiters were awesome, but they only had 2 of them to handle 20 something tables, which is just…idiotic. Both times I went there the wait times were atrocious. I felt so bad for the poor waitress.
So, putting in a provision that stated no state funds could be used to finance or assist the HSR project would have killed it, doesn’t that directly mean that HSR is relying on the fact that at some point they WILL use public funds even though they’re claiming it’s an all privately funded project?
Nothing about the apartment complex on South Gessner that had roofs ripped off by a tornado? Blew out windows in some neighboring buildings, too.

The story was in Sunday’s Chronicle: http://www.chron.com/news/article/Apartment-building-collapses-in-wake-of-storm-6284010.php. (And other places)
Spotts Park is a bowl. What else is gonna happen?
Well, we knew it was just a matter of time before the newly-improved Buffalo Bayou Park went underwater. I hope all those light fixtures were waterproof!
ZAW: Meh, outside the loop :P
Found this fun tool: http://www.flood-alert.org/#Home:Home, which appears to be a computer-generated map of flooded areas (theoretically), focused on Braes Bayou. If accurate (and I interpret correctly), it shows Meyerland and points west getting seriously whacked by flood waters.

Good point, Cody.

Maybe the casket showing up on a sidewalk would be weird enough to get Swamplot’s attention even though it’s Outside the Loop? (http://abc13.com/news/man-finds-occupied-casket-on-sw-houston-road/743023/)? Then again, it’s not really real-estate related, so maybe not.
Caskets are absolutely real estate related. They typically occupy 0.00092 acres each.
