Houston, Chicago’s nemesis? Haha, no, that’s most certainly Dallas; but Dallas keeps many Midwestern & Southwestern rivals. I’m not sure that Houston can any longer be said to have a nemesis, the same as how auto manufacturers long ago concentrated in Detroit.
This Houston/Chicago nemesis thing is more poorly and falsely drummed up than some WWE rivalries. It just doesn’t exist, why did people start trying to pretend it does (oh that’s right, clicks, and reads and more shoddy journalism)?
I’m calling it now, a buzzfeed type article in the Chron in the next 6 months: 10 Ways Houston is Totally Better Than Chicago.
