Amazing that Metro will spend $750K to move a tree and build a statue that has nothing to do with Metro’s mission, all because of a rail project that attracts marginally the same amount of riders that a bus would. Using December ridership numbers, it will take 21 day’s worth of revenue from Metro Rail to pay for this.
