The TRIP recommended projects look like a child’s Christmas wish list….. long, full of unnecessary things, and rooted in a financial fantasy where one doesn’t have a clue on how to / care about paying for the items.
There are real transpo and freeway needs in this area. I45 is one of them. But when you throw in the Grand Parkway expansion from 59N to I10 east in the same group as ‘necessary’, then you lose all credibility in my eyes. But alas, lobbyist gunna lobby and haters gunna hate.
