The high-speed rail will be instantly profitable if they include a stop at the TexRenFest.
For the high speed rail line to work it must have a Buckee’s stop at Centerville, that’s just a must or no go.
I had no idea that the Willow Waterhole area was a park under development. My neighborhood friends and I spent countless hours there in the 1960s, running around cycling on the trails. We got up to some mischief as well (e.g., this is where we went to smoke and drink, thinking our parents didn’t know). It was a beautiful place then, in a completely natural state. I haven’t seen it since then, but will make a point to do so next time I’m in Houston.
Regarding the article on diversity in the suburbs, it’s ironic that my brother-in-law insisted on taking his family out of the city a few years ago to escape exactly that: diversity. I’m sure it’s obvious what I’m saying. I get a certain amount of pleasure knowing that his is one of the suburbs being “invaded”. Might do him some good.
Agreed on the Buckee’s stop.
