Another Mod bites the dust
So sad to see 330 Electra go. A very interesting design that had been dulled by remuddling and deferred maintenance. I doubt its replacement will have as much curb appeal or scale with the surrounding neighborhood.

Wishful thinking, years ago when the tollway went through there I actually thought it might end up saving the MCM’s. I guess Glenbrook now holds the title for the most MCM in Houston.
I’m a fan of MCM architecture but flat roofs make for homes that don’t last long in our climate. The photo of the back of that house says it all.
