  Demolition permit does not necessarily equate to the entire building, as has been the case several times in the past here. The Banks house might just as well be removing something else, like a pool or an outbuilding.

  Sorry, commenters. I am the builder on the project and we are only demoing the horrible garage in the back. Not the house! This is how rumors start.

  @meh–I sincerely hope you’re right. Banks St. is a darling house, and it does look like most of the homes on the street (at least according to Google streetview) are original, historic homes.

  I didn’t see any McMonsters on the street, so hopefully it is just a shed or something.
