What cute trim on that house pictured … hope someone was able to save it before it headed to the dumpster.
I’m familiar with the area in 77023 where the Lawson Street demolition is supposed to take place. The address – 1515 Lawson – is not on the tax rolls. However, there are 3 vacant lots next to one another at that location: 1505, 1509 and 1513. The only structure on that property for several years was a small frame storage building that was occupied by squatters, and it was demolished over a month ago. What’s going on here???
@AmyHM This house had been on the market for awhile, and it needed considerable work. I’m surprised that they’re demoing it… There was a lot of interest when it hit the market last year, but its status waffled from “pending” to “active” for a few months – longer than I would’ve expected. Guess the inspections turned up some glaring problems; thought an investor would’ve restored it, though.
