I wonder what made the tax value on the Charleston property shoot up by 51% in one year?
Re 3305 Charleston: Owned by a little old lady from before 1988 to 2013 (source: HCAD). She passed away in 2017 (source: obits). A California landgrabber bought it in 2014 and remodeled it in 2015 (source: HCAD). That drove the value up from $135K to $204K in 2016. He successfully flipped it for $221K in late 2017 (sources: HCAD value, HAR sold range) to the current owners, who moved from a now-million-dollar ranch house in the nice part of Spring Branch (source: HCAD).
Wow Googlemaster-does HCAD say anything about how much junk I have in my attic?
J – no, but really, I hope you got more than $15,000 for grandma’s Picasso!
Thanks Google! I’ll inventory it immediately then. LOL!
