Thank God for bulldozers. The structures at: 2401,2407 Commonwealth St.,1414 Hyde Park Blvd.,and 1728 Richmond Ave., NEEDED to be demolished. They were UGLY eyesores. Anyone who argues for retaining obviously does NOT live near these rat traps. Their usefulness lapsed a LONG time ago. I’m all for new construction.Of course, some new construction is just as hideous !
If all they are going to build at the Richmond Ave location is a tiny strip center with front parking then I vote for keeping the old house. And yes I actually live and own property two blocks away from it.
