A bout of corner clearance in the Third Ward, plus a few flashes of edificial violence around town.

The building on East 20th was for years the The Original Huey “Ink Spot” Long Living History Music Museum. Very cool for neighbors, visitors, and especially Hamilton Middle School students to be able to pass by or visit it. The Ink Spots Museum is now online. http://www.inkspotsmuseum.com/
The house on E 20th is on the same lot as the house to the east with the cement columns. I wonder whether the demo is to add parking so the other building can be used for retail?

#119 has always captured my imagination; it’s so different from most houses in Houston. I hope you’re right.
