Re ‘Jamail Skate Park… I don’t skate, or at least since decades ago when I was a kid, but I would have thought they could do this during the winter months when it is not used as often. During the Summer, I see tons of kids out there, Winter. I see them during Winter, but not nearly as much.
But either way, it sounds like it is going to be very much improved.

Something is not quite right about the timing of the Skate Park project. There is something else going on; something that they don’t want to be discovered or known by the public.

After the row in the Purple City thread about subsidies and whatnot I was about to raise hell about money being poured into a skate park that’s only 8 years old. However, reason took over and I decided to look it up. The 2 million dollars are being provided by…well…none other than Lee and Joe Jamail (or their trust since they’re both dead). Whodathunkit. No what should I get mad about?

Seriously though that skate park is pretty cool and it’s a nice thing to see before going for a walk on the bayou.
