Another Monday, another bunch of Houston buildings in the way of general satisfaction. Blow these down!

$185,001 – $215,000 is really low in that neighborhood, even for lot value, even for lot value minus cost of demo. Other recently-sold properties of similar vintage and condition went for twice that. Some developer must have cooked up a sweet deal.
Whoops, referring to the Harold house, there.

Lot value per whom? HCAD? HAR? There is devaluation at this point. Despite the delusion that there isn’t.
That house would have been a sweet renovation at that price.
Matt, unless the so-called devaluation has happened in the last few months I haven’t seen it. There was recently an 8 buyer bidding war for a 6,250 sf lot (tear down) on Kipling with a final price of $360,000.
Granted the micro-neighborhood is a little better and the sale was 5 months ago but I don’t see that the land would have devalued by half in that time.
