Only 225K for 242 units on almost 7 acres? Even with the expensive demolition this seems like an example of eminent domain strong arming.
I’m glad those apartments are going away. i wish it was going to be replaced by something other then sports fields for the high school. just feels like they could have utilized that land a lot better.
What would be better?
something other then a ghetto apartment complex and a sports field that will be used maybe once a week for half a year.
you’ve got a huge park/ wildlife preserve right behind it. maybe there could be some sort of business, medical facility, nursing home, etc that could take advantage of that.
