Any idea what is being planned for the 2800-2900 block of Alabama? I was kind of surprised to see the houses ground up this morning.
Looks like more than the stars fell on Alabama.
I’d love to know what’s going there. That’s a monster chunk of land. And a large % of it frontage to Alabama.
Sucks those homes couldn’t be saved. I kinda liked them.
2801 Alabama is owned by Midtown Redevelopment Authority according to HCAD. Trying to give it to a developer, I guess.
Thanks Spoonman! I always felt that group of homes were our very own version of Baltic Avenue. Oh, well.
