Comment of the Day: Cleanliness Is Next to Godliness

COMMENT OF THE DAY: CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS “As a contractor I’ve learned the sprayer is installed as a matter of cultural/religious practices relating to cleanliness. What may seem odd to you or I is a necessity for some of our neighbors who want to follow their cultural practices.” [Senor, commenting on Houston Home Listing Photo of the Day: Diaper Duty]

  • Plus, it must make it so much easier to clean the toilet.

  • I have noticed a negative correlation between stalls/restrooms that have one of these and overall cleanliness. The same negative correlation exists for odor.

  • I just thought everyone who cares about hygiene has one of those Korean washlets, not whatever this weird spray thing is.

  • A bidet should never replace a daily shower. Like SOME countries seem to think.

  • It’s rare that everyone goes with one option on any topic. Some may use Korean washlets, some may use Japanese washlets, some may use a bidet with a basin, some may use a bidet like the one in the photo that these comments refer to, some may do something else or use none of the above.
