Re: Weather Museum demolition (5104 Caroline)
.
I pass by this site every day on the way to work and it has been a slow go for them to pre-sell the condo tower planned for the site. The outside banner says each unit goes for $1.2M and up.
.
But, I guess they found enough millionaires to proceed. Capitalism for the win!
Re: Tilbury
Wasn’t this the house where a backhoe hit a gas line setting off a giant flare in the front yard. HFD spent hours pouring water on the house to keep the flames at bay. Curious if that’s why it’s now being torn down.
@Major Market, from HAR, you can see that they’ve pre-sold a handful of these condos. Dropping $1.3M+ on condos in the Museum Park neighborhood doesn’t happen all that often — finding homes for $1M+ in the neighborhood are still quite rare — I’m not sure those prices are really justifiable at this point in the neighborhood.
