Ugh. That masonry stucco bungalow on Redan was flawless.
I know there are some empty lots in the 3rd ward that could accommodate that Omar house.
I think it’s time we change the name of Woodland Heights to reflect how the neighborhood has changed in the last decade. I propose it’s new name should be Whitestone Heights.
I already made them a sign

Redan property’s windows are gorgeous. Thought Woodland Heights was deed restricted? Hope demo company has foresight to salvage them. Bums me out.
@dude: I had gone with Kubalaville. Her “Modern Bungalow” builder has taken a buzz saw to great swaths of Woodland Heights.
Oak Manor, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, River Oaks, West Oaks. Does seeing that make me OCD, or just irritating?
Plenty of houses in Woodland Heights need to be torn down. However, I remember when the Redan house was last sold (=/- 5 years ago) and it was really beautiful.
Why?? Why can’t old small things exist? Ugh

Lovely little home. Such a shame.
Damn, 902 Redan was a beaut.
Suck it, Whitestone.
