  • I’m wondering what defects the Bellemeade house could have and what bells & whistles new construction might feature that would cause the buyer to tear down and build anew.

  • I just wonder how they keep the fresh cut grass out of the pool? On second thought, I’m sure they have help for that.

  • Age and size is what is wrong with it!

  • Bellemeade gets torn down because it is only a 3,500 sq ft house on a 13,500 sq ft lot. If you have a house under 8,000 sq ft in River Oaks, people at ROCO will think you are a communist.

What is really creepy is the CGI furniture in the listing on HAR. Are times so tough on realtors that they cannot afford to rent some furniture to show a 2 mil listing?

  • Not big enough, grand enough, or enough Tuscan with high vaulted ceilings. Granted, the baths need updating and needs a patio around that pool. No, really, it’s the fact that it’s a 1935 home dooms it for most in that area.

  • Ironically this looks like such a nice building. I mean even if you notice the way the land around it has been preserved and maintained, you gotta wonder how they are demolishing it.

I keep seeing more and more of these reports. I guess it’s the re-construction age??
