Will there be any oaks left in GOOF when all the mansionizing is finished? Garden No Oaks or No Oak Forest doesn’t roll off the tongue very well.
Some builders are trying to keep the oaks – the house going up across the street still has the large oak in the front yard (thanks to required set backs!) They applied for a variance on the back, so I don’t think the one in the now tiny strip of a back yard will make it if the huge tree roots sticking out of the dumpster after excavation were any indication. The mature crepe myrtles on the perimeters did not make it.
