That’s such a cool building…why are they tearing it down?
If the map link is correct for 59 Diner, it was demo’d a long time ago, apparently. I have driven by there regularly for the past two years and never saw that building there before. Maybe they’re doing site work?
Gus stated above that this block of the Katy Fwy was cleared several years ago.
I’m still wondering why the permit office is so tardy in reporting some demolitions.
There’s a 59 diner about four miles west down I-10, is that their “new” location?
