Queen of Peace is building a new parish community center. The old community center building sustained severe damage during Hurricane Ike and the parish has been unable to use it ever since. The original church building on the property is also coming down to make room for the new community center building. You can read more about the project and see some proposed renderings at:

The Queen of Peace buildings were knocked down last week. Groundbreaking on the new community center is Saturday, October 2.
