That stretch of Brazos is booming. I have no doubt 2218 will soon be a residential midrise. Another midrise is almost roof-ready in the 2700 block, and something a little smaller is going up on the 2800 block (I don’t think these two have been covered on swamplot, so if anyone has more information, please do share). The new Alamo Drafthouse and Midtown Superblock park will not want for local patrons.
Parking lot is more likely for 2218 Brazos.
Does that mean that Houston now has one less ice house forever? How many remain?
