I pass by the Locke Ln. house fairly often and always thought it looked oddly intriguing. Glad the interior lived up to my fetid imagination. Sad knowing this baby is being scraped, bashed, and ground into pulp. Farewell, my jaundiced beauty!
I also drive by that Locke Lane house often. I always think “I bet it’s still got a lot of the original coolness inside.” And then I think “I wonder if someone else will love it enough to save it.” I guess I got my answer.
I knew the family who lived in that house- The man who owned that house financed the construction of the Astrodome. His name was Ben McGuire and he was a sweet man. I miss him, his house and his family and I am so sad to see it all go.
