This is the second time they’ve pulled demo permits for the Washington Avenue locations. The last time (See the June 25, 2010 report) didn’t bring them down, and they have been uninhabitable eyesores ever since.
Let’s hope the bulldozers win this time.
The Butterfly house has interesting masonry work, that is rarely seen. They used an excessive amount of brick mortar to make it look like the mortar is oozing out.
