Fortunately for all of us, those 147 swampy acres in the middle of nowhere where Houston got its start also turned out to be almost exactly in the center of the 610 Loop.

I saw this this morning. It really shows Houston natural and organic growth pattern.
Lived in Houston >30 years, and only just now do I appreciate that Hunter’s Creek Village is its own little city and all. I’ll have to go up there and visit.
