Ike was a good reminder to eat fresh. Lessens the need for ice! The local shrimp haul has been very good this year thanks to the Ike after effects. Fresh seafood is one of the big reasons I love living on the gulf. Year round veggies and beautiful fruit — the local wines and beers — we live well! Enjoy the fruits of your labor weekend!
