A parking garage is planned on Westpark just west of Kirby Dr., to serve the Goode Company Taqueria and Goode Company Seafood restaurants that sandwich it. The new garage will replace the stylin’ 1966 glazed-brick-front Elgin Butler Brick Co. office building and adjacent warehouse that have served as Goode Company’s offices and commissary since 1988. Together, the modern buildings measure more than 14,000 sq. ft.

Goode Company BBQ and the company’s Armadillo Palace are a short ways down across Kirby. A report by the Chronicle‘s Greg Morago says a new commissary twice the size of this one (to serve as a test kitchen and production environment for Goode Company’s mail-order business) will be in operation next year — but doesn’t specify its location.

Dibs on the salvaged glazed brick!
They own the buildings behind the Wendy’s and also the Barbeque restaurant. My guess is that the commissary goes in behind Wendy’s.
And the BBQ is still mediocre.
