“Only problem is that with a huge name like Grand Parkway, what will we call the next, even bigger loop?”
That’s easy – GRANDER Parkway. Then we can have GRANDEST. And THEN we have a problem!
The Trans-Texas Cooridor
IH 35
Stupend-a-Loop?
Bryan Parkway?
The Beaumont-Huntsville-Sealy-Angleton-Texas City loop
It’s already been named the Prairie Parkway.
http://www.westhouston.org/new_page_7.htm
It will be called the “Prairie Parkway”, and its path is already designated within Waller County as a north/south connector between Highway 6 as it veers north in the direction of College Station and the Westpark Toll Road.
I’ve also seen it make an appearance in plans from Fort Bend County where it would connect to Spur 10, to the west of Rosenberg, then wrap over toward Pleak where it would intersect with an extension of the Fort Bend Toll Road.
But there you have it, that’s the name.
Hey Ben– still room for the the Grandiose Parkway
considering that it’d be without doubt a privately funded road since the gov’t seems to be pulling out of that business, i’d imagine it being something like the “Google DARPA Grand Parkway”.
Grand Funk Parkway?
And for the next loop after that: the Kuiper Belt?
“The Quad”
I’m thinking the “Manifest Destiny Sprawlway”.
The border.
Caribou wins.
Should add an “e” at the end – Grande Parkway. Classy!
Yup it’s the Prairie Parkway next.
SuperUltraMegaLoop. Or maybe Crisis on Infinite Loops. You could basically go to your local comic shop for all the inspiration you need.
