Photo of 5302 Braesheather Dr.: HAR
Looked through the HAR listing photos for 5302 Braesheather (the home in the photo). Quite the stunning mid-century modern. It looks recently renovated so I wonder if those photo were pre-Harvey.
The listing for the home on Shady Acres cracks me up. The neighborhood is convenient to many parts of town, but the Medical Center is specifically NOT one of them.
What a shame about the Brand-designed house on Braesheather. Native Houstonian, I’d say you’re right: the HAR photos are probably post-Tax Day and pre-Harvey. The faux-wood rectangular tile on every floor is evidence of second-time-around flood remediation planning, and the intact walls and fresh cabinetry are surely pre-Harvey. That corner of Meyerland was grievously harmed this time around, and far fewer homeowners chose to remediate.
