Photo of 5302 Braesheather Dr.: HAR

  • Looked through the HAR listing photos for 5302 Braesheather (the home in the photo). Quite the stunning mid-century modern. It looks recently renovated so I wonder if those photo were pre-Harvey.

  • The listing for the home on Shady Acres cracks me up. The neighborhood is convenient to many parts of town, but the Medical Center is specifically NOT one of them.

  • What a shame about the Brand-designed house on Braesheather. Native Houstonian, I’d say you’re right: the HAR photos are probably post-Tax Day and pre-Harvey. The faux-wood rectangular tile on every floor is evidence of second-time-around flood remediation planning, and the intact walls and fresh cabinetry are surely pre-Harvey. That corner of Meyerland was grievously harmed this time around, and far fewer homeowners chose to remediate.
