Those concrete floors are a fast fading fad as more people learn that serious joint pain and damage can occur walking around on them for years. Maybe that person in the pool drowned while rehabbing a hip replacement.

Sure concrete is HARD but so is porcelain tile… One can always put down area rugs, runners, work mats. I think sealed concrete is awesome.
