  • photoshop? what is going on there?

  • I suppose the realtor ran out of film in his Kodak. It probably doesn’t really matter as it’s “pending” already.

  • Yeah, something doesn’t look right in that photo. The angles appear to be off.

  • This home will be a step up for the new owner.

  • What’s wrong with the photo? I feel dumb for missing something here….

  • That patio isn’t there on Street View, so it’s hard to tell what’s going on here.

  • The front porch appears to be photoshopped on. Look at the garage door and you can tell it is even edited.

  • @Cody Go to the HAR link and click on Street View. You’ll see that the listing agent unnecessarily (and badly) added some embellishments.

  • The Google Image says it is dated March 2011. No one could have added that in 3.5 years?

  • Lol. The cops are probably at neighbors for a break in.

  • So, the seller updates the landscaping? That’s all it is?

  • I live in that neighborhood. I will swing by this evening to see what the deal is & report back in the morning. ;)

  • But why would you assume it was a photoshop and not done after street view pic was taken? I’m just curious what first caused that conclusion?

  • Its because it looks really weird. Follow the porch down from the door to the street with your eyes, follow the tiles, keeping the truck in your peripheral. The perspective is WILDLY off. Either those tiles are growing as you get closer to the street or they were taken at a much different perspective and then photo shopped into here. Look at the grass corner between the truck and the patio. It’s just…off, the lines are too clean to be real. Also if you look at the blurriness of the photo, it seems very artificial. Like they took a low resolution image of a porch and then blurred the whole photo to cover the discrepancies in the clarity of the two.

  • Swamplot needs a fleet of drones so we don’t have to wait for someone to drive over there and look.

  • The photo shows no way to get from the driveway directly to the front door without climbing about a 2-ft step. So yeah, we got a bad PhotoShop job here.

  • Also, take a look at the shadows on the front fender of the truck and in front of the garage doors, then contrast those with the shadows produced by the tree in the front lawn on the left of the picture. The sun is not in the same sky position.

  • $160k seems high for Covington Woods. Even if there’s a radiant barrier and laminate wood and tile back splashes. Property taxes are going up in this area every year.

  • I could see someone doing some HDR or jazzing up a photo with some sparkle or whatever, but this is different. It looks like they flat out added a feature that doesn’t exist. Is this…is this legal to do on an MLS listing? There are rules for using MLS, and I would hope that this violates one of them.

  • It needs a “serving suggestion” disclaimer.

  • HAR.com showing this one as pending now. Even the plain-jane neighborhoods of Sugar Land are fetching never-before-seen prices.

  • Looks like they tried to make the landscaping look better?? Most homes in Sugar Land are pretty well taken care of so this one might not live up to the standard of the city…
