THE NEXT NEIGHBOR IN LINE FOR 2520 ROBINHOOD WON’T MIND GETTING WET Hudson Lounge owner Adam Kleibert is hoping his new bar directly to the east of the 2520 Robinhood at Kirby condo tower will get better treatment from his neighbors than the drenching and projectile greetings Hans’ Bier Haus directly to the west received last year. And he tells the HBJ‘s Allison Wollam that he and his brothers have some plans for the rest of the property they own directly adjacent to the tower. Once the lending market turns around, he says, they’d like to build a 33-room boutique hotel with a rooftop pool on the site. Kleibert says the Hudson Lounge is already planning a reception expressly for condo residents. [Houston Business Journal; previously on Swamplot] Photo: Candace Garcia
We will see. Hans has a parking garage acting as a buffer to the condo tower. The closest condo to the Lounge is on the 2nd floor and aprox. 30 feet from the lounge. Could get interesting.
Wow this is just crazy. I sold some of those condos in the building. I’m sure it’s just the people renting not purchasing. It seems that people renting always are a little more disrespectful then purchasing. I think because they know they will not be there for long.
This has to be the most active square half-mile in Houston.
Boring.
The retards at the tacky building next to Hans Bier Haus are making a sting again! I hope they get thrown out of court. This is a waste of tax money.
*stink
They’re making more than just a stink. They’re back to tossing things. And endangering people’s lives. The matter really belongs in criminal court. Not civil court. If they manage to kill someone I hope the district attorney’s office charges all the homeowners. And considers it a capital offense.
That matter aside if the property values at 2520 Robinhood are plunging, it isn’t because of the economy or the bars.
I still say that considering the fact that Robert Durst is one of the homeowners HPD should be checking the meat.
