Just opened in this . . . uh, extra-wide storefront at 2521 University in the Rice Village, just a few doors down from Candylicious: a second — and considerably larger — location for the Chocolate Bar. A reader sends in this night-time photo, providing evidence that the retail space was formerly the home of . . . yes, a Lane Bryant.

So guess the same clientele will just go to the same place! HAHA
Good marketing Chocolate Bar!
too funny! I must admit to needing both.
I think this is a great location for the Chocolate Bar. Parking is horrible, but with all the nighttime foot traffic for the restaurants and bars in the Village, it should do well.
Cool concept. However, I’ve heard and experienced rude staff at the original location.
Also, they’ve said they don’t “believe” in advertising, PR or grand openings, so I guess the article on this site is a free toot for their horn!
Stop with the fat jokes…..
Come on…I’m sure there are a couple of more jokes somewhere that be made!
It could have very well been Avenue or Torrid instead. :P
In all fairness, Torrid’s target market is a 20-year-old waitress or retail clerk, while Lane Bryant’s target market is a 38-year-old administrative assistant. Who would you rather jump in bed with?
MoT…a little too far!
