I don’t know how much you can trust google but…. Matthew Dilick, the unresponsive owner/developer responsible for the go ahead to tear down Wilshire Village, is listed at 1206 Greenbriar in Friendswood Texas(home). His company is listed with both
    7011 SOUTHWEST FWY STE 404
    HOUSTON, TX 77074-2009
    and
    11144 FUQUA ST STE 200
    HOUSTON, TX 77089-2544
    phone number is (281) 922-6700.

    Anyone have an email address???

Mr. Dilick - if you’re reading these posts - please understand that many people in this city want to help you make a difference with this demolition project. That it must be torn down is evident by the current state of deterioration. But what if you held an auction where those who were interested could come and bid on materials currently doomed for the landfill? You would make extra money both from the proceeds and from the savings you would get from reduced landfill tipping fees. Just draft up a waiver of liability and have people sign off on it, then let them do the deconstruction themselves. There have been numerous instances where sites have been so picked clean that there was a HUGE reduction in demolition costs. There are companies that would do all the work for you! I personally would pay a lot for a truck full of bricks and one of the entry arches. Its not too LATE!!!!!

    From EMME:

Mr. Dilick comes from the Fertitta coven. There is no moral compass to appeal to.

I always thought there was a certain charm about those apartments.

I may or may not have several pictures from exploring the grounds over the past few months. Ok, so I do.

I managed to contact the fellow who is acting as “caretaker” for the property - i.e. he has the keys for the fence locks. He is allowing me to come and shoot photographs of the property this weekend.
