This area is coming back like GANGBUSTERS!
Maplewood North is the smaller of the two
“directional” hoods, but is zoned to *tada*
Bellaire HS.
There is now in place a second generation of quality young families with kids.
Fifteen years ago, this area could have headed the way Sharpstown did; I’m very pleased it did not.
Highly recommended hoods!
I’d avoid being:
Next door to Brays Bayou
Too close to the awful Fondren Middle School.
Near the (relatively rare) lousy seventies-era Apts.
It’s really a short list – and just a mile or less from the Loop.
Check it out!
