Don’t forget your towel or your clubs when visiting this Carlton Woods Estates home, priced at $3.188 million (brought down last week from the $3.388 million August asking price). This 5-bedroom, 5-full-bath, 3-half-bath villa wraps around a central courtyard and pool, and is itself nestled between fairways of the Jack Niklaus Signature Golf Course. The 2-story dwelling clocks in at 9,476 sq ft. and provides plenty of opportunities to get away from it all from the comfort of home.

The third-story cupola offers scenic views of the nearby greens, as well as visitors as they enter the courtyard:
A mix of tiled stone pavers and turf carpet the pool deck:
The dining room is crowned by a tray ceiling adorned with the first of many frescoes:
AÂ stonework alcove provides a rustic setting for the range and vent hood:
Iron-grated windows offer a look-but-don’t-touch peek into the wine room, next to the peaked stucco entryway:
The 2-story wood-paneled library is accented with plush carpet hearkening to other far-off lands:
The master suite features a timbered barrel ceiling; below, the bed is flanked by more frescoes of distant places:
The master closet has its own chandelier and lots of built-in storage space, as well as a place to stay the night:
A sunken Roman bath is set amid Doric columns and mosaic tile:
Relax in the tiled sauna:
A stained glass window and chandelier greet visitors at the top of the spiral staircase to the second floor landing:
The home theater offers more opportunities to send the mind elsewhere:
You can even run away upstairs, but it won’t get you far:
When all the travel catches up with you, escape to the backyard casita:
Out back, a water feature and fire pit provide more diversions next to the private putting green:
And opposite the casita at the back of the property sits the 4-car garage:

I’m convinced men build these monsters so they never have to see their wife and kids
I actually personally knew the guy that built this house (not the current owner) and he had a saying “Marry your second wife first”. Don’t forget the garage is actually air conditioned and the inner courtyard pool area is also conditioned with hidden drip chillers.
That’s a pretty sweet little crib from which to run a cocaine empire. Honestly though I really like it. May be a little on the small side for what they are trying to accomplish though (seems like the rooms are all a little on the thin side, but it’s really hard to tell with all the fisheye shots).
