The letters are down at the Cabo Grill in the West U Shopping Center (the one with the Kroger and all the oaks) on Buffalo Speedway between Westpark and Bissonnet. This Cabo Grill — not to be confused with the also shuttered Cabo Mix-Mex Grill known best for its former location at the corner of Travis and Prairie Downtown (now home to El Big Bad) — was formerly named Fish City Grill. A reader tells Swamplot that a sign posted on the front door of the shopping center slot at 5172 Buffalo Speedway says that the locks have been changed as a result of a payment failure. The place appears vacant.

Fish City to Cabo to Empty
I have never tried a ‘bile macaron’. Now I know where to go should I ever get so adventuresome.
Is that place next to it called Bile Macarons? Gross. We are in ‘Merica it should be Bile MACAROONS. smdh.
Good. Now we have a potential new mattress store location. The food at that restaurant was terrible. No wonder they went under.
That’s actually Bite Macarons, a macaron store – http://www.bitemacarons.com/. That’s far better than the implications of bile macarons…
I didn’t even realize Fish City Grill closed. I never went to it or Cabo.
.
I tried to go to Bite Macarons once. I wrote about it here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/bite-macarons-houston-2?hrid=uB7eNXl8oIwvRRUEyhXY8g
Good. The food and service sucked. I hope they go bankrupt. I went there for lunch with my best friend Shelly Anne. It was awful. The tacos is were cold and our little snooty 17 year old bimbo ” waitress” was a real sh-t. We we complained she had the nerve to say that the meals were served hot but that me ans Shelly Anne were talking too much which allowed for our food to get cold! I was furious. When I asked to speak with the manager she said he was not there. Really? Well we left in a huff and no I did not tip that little smart a-s-s.
I know this is a real estate blog and not a foodie blog, but I feel compelled to point out to the whatever-smiley poster above that macarons and macaroons are two different food items. The first is a French version of a small moon pie. The second is a delicious concoction of sugar, butter, and shredded coconut baked to a golden brown. I’m not sure why you would have a store just for either, but I don’t understand cupcake stores either.
@GoogleMaster: Actually, macaroons are any cookie made using a non-flour paste of almonds, nuts or potatoes. And French “macarons” are macaroons made from almonds.
@GoogleMaster: Why do you hate America?
Here are a couple of pictures that explain the difference for you:

There are more macaroons in heaven and earth, GoogleMaster, than are dreamt of in your image search.
.
Here are some almond macaroons (from Martha Stewart, of all people), that are nothing like the coconut macaroons you seem to equate with macaroons:

Coconut macaroons are macaroons. Almond macaroons are macaroons. They used to be the only kind of macaroons, and weren’t called “almond macaroons”, just “macaroons”. That was the English form of the word. In French it is “macaron”. French macarons are made of almonds and they are macaroons.
Twitter has already resolved this issue.

Let’s get back to real estate.
