Weird. A room within a room? Also, it appears like the homeowners would have been well off enough not to have to eke out a living space in a void of a ‘nice’ home, sans the ruffles and flowers. Maybe mom and dad’s way to ensure the kids are forced to take their nap, or teenagers not sneak out at night. HA!
