This connection was designed and a contractor selected and slated for construction in 2014. It had been put on hold for some reason and is not scheduled to be constructed until 2020.
Rumor has it that the lumber company that backs up to the trail at 5 1/2 St. owns the land. That would probably cause a problem.
The City bought the property.
