“Cursed restaurant locations are a fun game! It’s probably due to feng shui. The old Hard Rock Cafe/Fire + Ice. Pizzeria Uno/Corelli’s/Floridita/Tommy Bahama/Sushi King. Sausalito/Palazzo’s/Pan Y Agua/some wine bar. Serrano’s/Los Tonyo’s/Fox Diner/Crome/Pravada. Renata’s/Hessni’s/Side Street Brewing/Mia Bella” [iMidget, commenting on Do Not Resuscitate; Move to Harwin]

Don’t forget the Two Pesos/Picos/Argentine steakhouse/something else/now aquarium store behind the old Bennigan’s at Kirby and 59.
The ultimate is the spot on Woodway next to Whole Foods. My brain cannot even name all of the failed operators there…the funniest, of course, was the Mi Cocina people from Dallas falling flat on their face.
The Two Pesos is now Taco Cabana-same location actually on Kirby. For the longest time I thought the fish store in back was actually another restaurant…
What about the building to the right of Arby’s on Shepherd—-Zu Zu Mexican, then some other place, then a salon/spa. Now they have connected it to the shoe hospital, incorporating it into a lil’ strip center. It’s still vacant, too, I thinks.
